Quick & Painful

Alright, I thought I’d throw down some more haaarrd tracks. Not really any rhyme or to it. Lately my tastes have been jumping around. Some of them are a bit old, but still hold up well. I haven’t had a chance to touch on Feadz(Ed Banger), Herve (the Count of Count & Sinden), or Le Castle Vania (another amazing Atlanta artist) yet but they all really make super energetic music. Also artists like Fukkk Offf, and Proxy (from Moscow) have dropped a couple gigantics. I’m really excited about all the artists on the Boys Noize label (shadow dancer, les petits pilous, & siriusmo etc.). I apologize for the lack of artist description on this post, but its crunch time now for school (hopefully I’ll have some extra time over the holidays). If your in the same boat I am these should keep you at it. Go to it

dvno – justice (les petits pilous remix)

rombo – the bloody beetroots (dirty disco youth remix)

suck it – feadz

tenderoni – chromeo (etienne de crecy remix)

rocky raver – herve

cheap thrills – herve

Title - Bladerunner
some daarrker tracks (feels drum ‘n bassy at times)

fire gem – maral salmassi (fukkk offf remix)

forza – Zombie Nation(fukkk offf remix)

dance in dark – proxy (original mix)

BONUS: Alright, here’s the track that I remember starting this whole electro-craze thing. Justice and simian released a song together titled ‘we are you’re friends.’ It was a remix done by Justice for the simian song never be alone. Simian split up soon after (the drummer and the keyboardist formed simian mobile disco and the singer became one half of the black ghosts). It’s a good song that becomes quite repetitive but live it turns into a crazy mantra. There are some crazy undertones (psychological, and religious maybe?) with the flashing cross and the repetition of this phrase over and over (it’s a bit creepy/surreal). It’s unfortunate for them that they were recently caught in a picture at a live show with an mpc unplugged, which proves they were faking it (check this video for more info). It’s been a rough stretch for justice and ed banger for that matter. Justice also admitted to using 400 uncleared samples in an MTV interview, but I don’t think it as bad as it sounds (check this article). While I’ve found plenty of music and artists to keep me happy I hope they can recover from these mishaps. Well, it about that time. I threw in a scotty b remix and a nice completely unrelated young punx tune (lil bit of D ‘n B). Until next time people.
