New Soooo Gold Ep
So our favorite local DJ/producer So Gold just put together a four track ep, the remixes, that’s available for free! Just go to his myspace page to cop it. It’s really good, I can’t get enough of the bmore and disco melding. Who knew they could go so well together? So Gold remixes the Bee-Gees, crystal castles vs. health, lime, and the phantom’s revenge. The phantom’s revenge remix is especially nice. I’m sure this would do well on the dance floor. The bmore beat and the timing make it work without overshadowing the great sample used by phantom’s revenge. So if you like the ep please show some love on his myspace. Here’s a couple tracks off of it to listen to.
tragedy – bee gees (so gold refix)absolute ego riot – the phantoms revenge (so gold refix)

Bonus: Here’s some tracks I have been enjoying. The pink skull track is pretty old (2007) but it’s still great. The curses (drop the lime) track popped up recently and is a markedly different style than his other stuff (not always a fan). It’s over eight minutes long and a crazy funky slow-building disco masterpiece. The track is an unexpected collaboration with DFA’s Holy Ghost!(it sounds more like Holy Ghost!). The fred falke remix, which also surfaced recently(along with grace which was posted earlier), is perfect french touch falke. Hope this keeps you warm. Until next time!
