Theme For Unsolved Mysteries Moving on with somore dubstep lets get into some benga. Benga is another big name in the dubstep world over in london. His songs are even more dark and bass heavy than Skream. The depth of the bass is ridiculous. He dropped an album in 2008, diary of an afro warrior (amazon), that was unbelievable. I was a bit late to this, but it’s just continued to grow on me. It’s gotten tons of critical acclaim as it should. Check his myspace for brand new taste that I wish I could get my hands on (faster tempo and a bmore remix!?). There’s a few old benga mixes floating around (essential mix feb08, tracklist) but only the live set with skream is all that recent. There’s also a couple interviews floating around (by the comment tree with skream)(last.fm w/skream)(Benga in the studio). I chose a few tracks from the album and some singles that bring the extra extra extra basssssss. Check.
