Eli Escobar has already been plugged here, but he’s been quite busy. I’m suuuper pysched to see him tomorrow. Plz check out his blog, outside broadcast for unreal classic house, disco, and his own material. A couple days ago he dropped a brand spanking new vid for his original track, glass house, which is full of taste vintage afterschool special footage. Just recently he’s dropped a remix of amanda blank’s make it take it (her album is also uber-taste) that gives it an 80′s synthy spacey feel that is IMHO better than the original. Another remix of his of lenka’s trouble is a friend is perfect tribal space disco. In july he also dropped a mix titled roller-boogie mix with dj duane for nickydigital. Its bursting with timeless disco and 80′s post disco.

Cosmo Baker was just plugged last week so this will be quick. He’s been doing this deal for quite a while now, and an infamous member of the rub. Recently he released a live michael jackson dj set that’s pretty sweet. Also, though old, his remix of the DJ Quik song, sexuality is worth smiling about. Lastly he remixed the Quincey Jones track razzamatazz (guess who used this sample) and I promise this will get stuck in your head. See you tonight!!!
