So, as I mentioned in an earlier post, Señor Stereo dropped their first ep, unintentional, June 29th on Slow Roast Records. Its a great ep, currently in love with the title track unintentional. The groove is amazing, funky bassline, a few horns, and undeniable soaring melodies. Its music that isn’t so easy to categorize. Mix a little house, with bits of disco, a touch of electro and solid french touch bass. Its the keys that really get me though. The melodies, and feel are absolutely perfect. Pick it up at juno, turntable lab or beatport. In honor of the release Slow Roast is giving out two Señor Stereo tracks, Hot Damn, and Babe We’re Gonna Love Tonight. Fifth release for Slow Roast Records sees the debut of Miami’s Senor Stereo with a solid batch of house styles. Senor Stereo is Joe Masurka (aka Joe Maz), Danny Gomez (aka Danny Daze), and Matt Masurka (aka Gigamesh) and they are here to make you sweat it out on the floor with their jams. “Unintential” leas off with deep and funky house grooves topped with vocodered lyrics courtesy of Danny Daze. “I Am The Beat” comes in next with Stacatto’s Louisahhh!!! a chunky banger drenched in a mean arpeggio to make the walls sweat. But it doesn’t stop there, “Hot Damn” continues the grooves on a sexy disco house tip, while “Dancing Time” and “Simple Love” will keep it pumping till the morning light.
