Another week down. In addition to other releases we’ve already touched on this week, there was some good old electro dropped. Mustard Pimp and Hot Pink Delorean dropped an ep, and Don Riminireleased NLarge Your Parties to the masses. A couple religion remixes surfaced, and I’m digging the remix of Avalanche (Erol & Boys Noize). Maddjazz, the dream, señor stereo, Greenmoney, and BadnRad are just a few of the others. On a completely different note, I’ve been listening to altered natives, he dropped an album on May 28th and another on July 2nd (Tenement Yard Volume One & Serial Vendetta). His sound is techy, tribal, deep, and full of tricky dark grooves. Lastly Memory Tapes remixed the Thunderheist tune, drive in, and its pretty good. He’s definitely switching things up these days, syncopated rhythms and bass. It really gets cooking at 1:48. The orginal thunderheist tune is great as well as the Drop the Lime remix.
