So I’ve been revisiting some LOL Boys lately. Lots good tunes. LOL Boys are Marcus G(writes for hot biscuits) and Jerome P (burntpiano). They recently dropped a mix for mixpak back in May that’s great. The style isn’t easy to categorize and it continues to evolve. I like where they’re headed. Their remix of Christina Millian’s Chameleon is one of my favorites. LOL Boys are dropping a record on palms out towards the end of the summer.

Here’s a new mix our boys, the LOL Boys, did for Mixpak – in which the power of East and West coasts combine to form a crazed festival of emoticons. Check Mixpak for the interview.

I don’t think the current state of “whatever this new undefined dance music genre we’re in is called” would be where it is without Burial’s “Untrue”. As our friend Jamie Acid Girls said: “We live in a ‘post-Burial’ world.”
