Estate, the local mpls electro pop duo, dropped a new EP today titled Nuclear City. It’s extra special because Gigamesh helped to produce it. You may know him from Senor Stereo, DISCOTECH, or the producer behind Mike Posner’s Cooler Than Me. They’ve often worked together and complement each other quite well. I’ve liked their previous material, but this is a big move forward. The songs are well written, and produced perfectly. There’s also a healthy dose of vocoder too. The tones and melodies are so smooth. One time lover is my early favorite. Pick up the release on Juno, Itunes, Beatport, etc.
