Chilly Gonzales – I Am Europe (Djedjotronic Remix)
Chilly Gonzales is in the midst of releasing an album that’s produced by the Germanic genius Boys Noize. It’s already dropped in Europe, but comes out here in the States September 14th. I’ve had a listen to a number of tracks and its solid. The song writing and production are good, but it the dry humor and light hearted feel that stands out. In honor of the release a DJ Edjotronic remix of the lead single I Am Europe has been offered up. Its a great tune. The song begins with building minimal rhythms, and really opens up when the ravey techno synths come in. The groove slays me. For good measure, I threw in another djedjotronic remix of the faint from a while back. He also recently dropped an ep, Bit This Thin, on BNR. The Tony Senghore remix is fav. Peace!
