New free EP from Mercurial Myrmidon. Its a solid 4 song ep with a good collection of different sounds. There are elements of garage, minimal, house, deep house, and uk funky. Apathy is an interesting deep house groove. The eerie soaring synths and hi hat rhythms are what hooked me. The other I’m intrigued by is No Sense of Feeling. The groove is hypnotic, and the different teetering bass tones have grown on me. The other two songs, Pataptoon (Conga Mix), and Hey Bongo are more straightforward tribal house.
